Grimoire Mi Amore

Grimoire Mi Amore is a fast-paced magic duel where players battle it out using their favorite spells! Collect spell pages and build a spellbook to take into battle. It's always Halloween in GRIMOIRE MI AMORE!

To start the game, unzip and run GrimoireMiAmore.exe

You might need to install the OpenAL runtime?

I'd recommend using a controller. The keyboard is mapped for player1 on arrow keys and ASDFZXCV, but it is a pretty difficult experience.

This is a prototype for a deck-building fighting game. Currently it is a 1 or 2 player versus battle, where each player is given eight basic spells. Spells can include melee weapons and armor, attack spells, summoning spells, etc.  Eventually this game is planned to have dozens of spells similar to Clash Royale that the player can choose from. 

The purpose of uploading this project is to hopefully get some feedback. Obviously this is a proof-of-concept and there are some glaring issues. The spells need to be better balanced, there are some bugs, the sound effects are extremely basic, etc. Those things are all fixable though. The kind of feedback I'm looking for:

- Is this even fun?

- Does the idea of a deck-building fighting game have legs, or should I shelve this project?

- Would this game be better on mobile?
